Mission

We envision a world where tangible reminders help women hold fast to their true identity as daughters of the King.

To promote godly womanhood through honest stories and inspired jewelry.

In each piece, A Soul Song reflects true value, worth, and beauty.

Our blog and jewelry reminders encourage women to keep their focus on the Kingdom, share their hope with others, and embrace their eternal purpose.

Why

We believe that we live in a world full of distractions and false identities, but there exists an eternal hope.

In everything we do, we strive to create a “come as you are” community of women so that collectively, we may overcome false fulfillment and instead rejoice in the One who is true.

How

God typically inspires each story and piece from trials and times I, Krista Mae, walk through myself.

Sometimes, God stirs my heart to create a piece of jewelry that may encourage other women facing similar circumstances. As I handcraft each piece I intentionally pray for my sister that will receive it.

The Songbird

The songbird’s wings are open wide in a stance of freedom and surrender to remind us that we are no longer bound by chains because of the grace we have been offered through Jesus (Romans 6:14).

The songbird is looking up to represent when our eyes are focused on our Maker, we live with our hearts aligned to eternity, holding fast to our identity as daughters of the King (2 Corinthians 4:18).

The song notes surrounding the songbird are to the hymn “It is Well with My Soul”. I love the words in this song because they state that whatever trials we face on this earth, we can declare that “it is well with my soul” because of the victory Christ has already won for the righteous (Psalm 68:3).

The Name

The name “A Soul Song” comes from my greatest desire to sing songs of praise to my King always, whether in seasons of trial or of rest.

I believe that worship can be expressed in many different forms, all specially crafted to fit perfectly to our giftings and what we have best to offer our Maker.

Creating with words, or with jewelry, my soul feels so closely knitted to God’s character and His very being. In those moments I can’t help but to worship Him.

“I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.” • Psalm 89: 1-2 •
